Introduction to the Learning module

Introduction to the Learning module

The Learning module is where you can create short courses to ensure your employees have all the necessary formative information needed.

When opening the Learning page, users can browse available courses, see the courses they've started and their progress. Additionally, administrators will have access to the Administration tab, which allows them to manage the courses available.

What is a course?

A course is a collection of chapters that you want your users to complete. Each course can also have administrators, a target audience when the course is relevant only to specific people, and a publishing date for scheduling when the course is released.

What is a chapter?

A chapter is a lesson within a course. You can use these to organize your courses into bite-sized chunks that users can complete over time.
A chapter is made up of a description and a set of questions. The description is the formative content of that chapter. The questions allow you to evaluate what your users are getting out of the course and how they're assimilating the content of that chapter.

How can I track the progress users have made in a course?

Administrators can export the progress users have made along the chapters of a course. By opening the course editor, you can download an Excel spreadsheet which includes how many chapters each user has marked as completed, as well as their answers to each question.
This allows you to measure the impact of the course on your employee's knowledge, and give you the tools to better assist your employees in the learning process.
