Introduction to Analytics

Introduction to Analytics

At its core, the analytics in Diggspace let you get a sense of how the content published in your portal is impacting your users. You can use these analytics to inform your content strategy and to ensure that the content being published is useful to your users.

Getting started with analytics

You can access the portal Analytics through your user menu. From there, you will be taken to the analytics page, where you will have three analytics tabs.

  1. Article analytics - how your articles are impacting your audience
  2. Channel analytics - which channels have the most interaction
  3. Author analytics - which authors publish the most articles and generate the most interaction
To view the analytics of a channel or an article, go to that channel or article, and click the analytics button in the header Button with an icon that is a graph chart growing from bottom left to top right
Alert
The analytics only have data starting from December 21, 2024. For now, you will be able to access the old analytics through the button at the top, but these will be discontinued at a future point in time.

Who has access to the analytics

Analytics will be available for users with different roles, and they will have access to different things based on their role.
  1. Global Admins and Content Management Admins have access to analytics regarding all articles from all channels
  2. Scope Admins have access to the analytics of articles and channels from the scope they administrate
  3. Channel Administrators and Channel Editors will have access to the analytics of the content published on channels they administrate
